Party Details
When you host a party, you have a variety of options depending on the level of previous jewelry-making experience your guests have. Party formats are as follows:
- Stringing parties focus on basic stringing of necklaces and bracelets.
- Wrapping parties incorporate wire wrapping for earring projects or wire-wrapped necklaces/bracelets.
- Custom parties can be designed to meet both you and your guests interests/abilities.
Stringing: Guests spend party time choosing among basic strands of beads. They will add to these strands pendants, accents, chain, charms, clasps/toggles, etc. to make necklaces, bracelets or a combination of the two. Single and multi-strand options are available.
Wrapping: Guests focus on an earring project at this party. They will learn to incorporate beads onto wire and wrap them to create the same design - with their personal style incorporated in the beads they select. Once guests 'master' the wire-wrapping technique, they are invited to move on to additional jewelry projects or depending on the pace of the party, double-wire-wrapping for wire-wrapped bracelets and necklaces.
Custom: Guests focus on whatever project the hostess chooses. Options may include briolette wrapping, knotting, twisting or other unique jewelry-making methodologies.
